Saturday....St. Louis and corn

We pull each other out of bed knowing we have a FULL day of driving ahead. Breakfast at the hotel was…….warm…….sufficient! We hit the road around 9am heading north on I-24 with St. Louis in our sights. Have you ever seen the arch? Man it is cool!! One problem… were do you park a 45ft rig? Well we found a place surrounded by no parking signs…Perfect!! We wrote a nice note and stuck it in the window. We walked about 8 blocks to check out the Arch. After some fun pictures we headed out. At this point we got on I-70 west. This is the same road all the way through the rocky mountains!! We made it as far as Hays Kansas. We pulled in dog tired around midnight!! Nothing like a 15 hour day on the road...lots of corn and sunflowers in Kansas!!
